Trees of Life – April 11, 2020
Our current crisis can at times appear eerie and bizarre. Streets are empty and quiet, schools are closed, and almost all churches are empty. What once would have been considered extreme is now commonplace. But nested inside this surreal landscape are glimmers of life, hope, and resilience. And whatever need we have, it is as if the plants themselves are rallying to say we will get through this together.

The inspiration for Fall Banquet in Tyler Park was a video released April 1, 1957 by the BBC. It think it was brilliant, especially for its time. I am pretty sure the narrator was also the narrator for Woody Allen’s movie Zelig, also a fictional documentary. That guy must have been a great liar.

The Bridger
In the fall of 2017, Patrick took a camping trip to The Winds in Wyoming with some friends. We had some low humor around the idea of wearing an adult diaper that was biodegradable to avoid having to deal with pesky bathroom breaks. “The Bridger” is named after the Bridger Teton National Forest.

The Love of Your Life
This Beargrass Media movie stars Finley Barber as Jerry, a kid who is obsessed with reptiles. A trip to the pet store finds him face to face with the love of his life. His friends encourage him to follow his heart in this sweet romantic comedy which also features Whitman, Lachlan, and Zaylie Barber, Andrei and Dara Zahorik, Jackson Baltes, Mae Alice Harrell, Isa Welsh, Sage Delaney, Kelly Parker, Ruthie McBride, Lilly Rich, Elle Stephens, Piper Hansen, Will Seckman, Liam Perryman, Torion Gore, and Chico the Chihuahua.
