Dare to Care Food Drive Promotion – November 15, 2023
Please enjoy this public service announcement made for “Dare to Care” by the Coleridge Taylor Video Club. Over 20 students and 3 faculty worked on this video by recording on-camera spoken parts, voice-over parts, and “B-roll video”. The resulting 2-minute video can hopefully be used to help other schools sponsor and/or promote their Dare to Care food drives.

Please enjoy this first edition of the rebranded show made by the Coleridge Taylor Elementary Video Club. The new show is called “The Monarch”. This episode features anchor segments, Hot Potato, Kids in Motion, Love Letters, a commercial for the Nullco Portobeach, and more. The kids did a whole lot of the camera work, some of the editing, and all of the performances. Great job everyone!

The club will meet on six consecutive Thursdays from October 6th through November 10th after school in the Library. The club will meet from 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM, and dismissal will be led by school staff beginning at 5 PM.
The club will be led by Patrick Fitzgerald of Beargrass Media and other staff as necessary. Beargrass Media will prepare scripts and assignments, help record and edit the videos, and post the videos on this page where they can be shared with the school or the families. The videos will range from actual news pieces about the students or the school to skits designed to teach students about video storytelling and editing. The students will record on mobile devices or cameras owend by Beargrass Media.
