Over the past couple weeks, we recorded a story on the Middle School Holiday Door Decorations

On Friday the 17th, we recorded a piece called “The Favor”

Also, Helen Little shared a video she made at home using some fun special effects.  She shared a video link and a document showing us how she made it.  So proud of her initiative to make this happen and share it with the club.

The first edition of “The Anchor” was recorded Friday, September 8th.  As an icebreaker, we let them choose a quick fun walk through the school looking at the middle school dance posters and crafting a quick advertisement for the event. So this first episode will be more of a PSA for the dance.

This week, we’ll work on more of a typical episode.

The kids wanted to do a skit based on a bunch of  Superheroes who were not very effective.  Sunny helped them come up with their list of “super” powers and put a script together.  We recorded it on April 28th, and then we watched it on May 12th.  Here is “The Super Heores of Anchorage vs the Super Villains” with a ton of behind the scenes footage.

We had a fun meeting on Friday, September 23rd.  We were recording on 2 different videos:  “Cha Ching” and “Check it out”.  We still have a few shots to record to complete “Check it out” and we will pick those up on Friday the 30th.  If any of the students have a tablet or phone with video editing software (like imovie, capcut, Kinemaster, etc.) they would like to bring, we could start to use that tomorrow, but it is not essential.  On Friday the 30th we will focus on shorter vignettes that the kids can start editing on themselves.

Below is the completed version of “Cha Ching”, which is based on the Shel Silverstein poen called Smart.
