HCM and Beargrass Media will be hosting a one week long video camp June 10-14, 2024 from 9 AM – 4 PM.. (There will also be an almost identical camp July 8-12, 2024.)
The camp is targeted for students rising into grades 3 – 8 in the fall of 2024.
The cost is $260 per student
The camp will be at Highland Presbyterian Church – 1011 Cherokee Road Louisville, KY 40204. This is a really nice facility with great indoor and outdoor recording spaces.
Signup Deadline is June 3, 2024
To pay for the camp, please use one of the following 3 options:

DETAILS:
The students will learn how to write, record, edit, and publish video productions. The students will use personal devices like phones and tablets as well as camp-supplied iPads, video cameras, microphones, a teleprompter, green screen, etc. Students who have participated in one of our video camps before will be put in a group appropriate to their experience and ability.
There will be an official welcome packet that comes out the week prior to the camp with some more exact details.
There is still time to request to be paired up with someone who is already registered or to tell a friend to sign up for the camp to join you. Sooner is better for us, because as the number of students grows, sometimes we pull in additional help for parts of the camp.
The camp will include some indoor classroom activity, some outdoor instruction and recording, some group projects, and some solo projects. We would like as many students as possible to bring their portable devices with them to camp. If your student will NOT be bringing a portable device to camp, please let us know, so we can take an inventory of who will have what.
Students will bring their lunch, and be dressed for some outdoor time.
